About

IMG_1935.HEIC

I am Paul Pittman, and I help near-retirees and retirees create retirement plans they feel confident about. Many of the people I work with are asking the same questions: When should I take Social Security? How do I invest now that I’m retiring? Will my money last? How do I lower taxes? How do I handle longevity risk? My role is to give you clear answers and a structured plan to guide the next 20–30 years of your life.

II bring an MBA in Finance, the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation, and the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation, along with more than a decade of experience helping individuals and families make smarter financial decisions. My background teaching collegiate business courses taught me how to explain financial concepts in a way that actually makes sense—so you can make decisions with clarity, not confusion or fear.

Retirement planning is more than charts and numbers. It’s about confidence, peace of mind, and avoiding the expensive mistakes that can derail your income. As a CHfC® and  RICP®, I specialize in turning complex issues—Social Security timing, taxes, withdrawal strategies, and investment risk—into a clear, actionable plan built around your goals. My commitment is simple: give you the structure, education, and support you need to retire on your terms.

Who We Serve

We guide clients through the most important decisions they will face as they transition into retirement:

  • Social Security Strategy: We analyze timing options for singles, couples, widows, and high earners to help you maximize lifetime benefits.

  • Retirement Income & Withdrawal Planning: We design income strategies that coordinate all account types—Roth, IRA, 401(k), taxable—to improve tax efficiency and create sustainable withdrawals.

  • RMD & Tax Strategy: We plan ahead for Required Minimum Distributions and structure income to reduce taxes, avoid IRMAA surcharges, and keep more of your money working for you.

  • Investment & Portfolio Risk Management: We protect your retirement income from sequence-of-returns risk, inflation, and market volatility through diversified, goal-aligned portfolios.

  • Long-Term Care & Healthcare Planning: We help you prepare for rising healthcare costs and evaluate strategies to protect assets from long-term care risks.

  • Housing & Home Equity Planning: We explore downsizing, cash flow opportunities, or how home equity fits into your retirement income plan.
